Internal Account Manager



We are SCC - Specialist Computer Centres - a highly successful IT services provider providing cost effective; business critical IT solutions to large commercial and public sector organisations .

We continue to grow and enjoy continued and increased demand for our services and now have an exciting career opportunity for an Internal Account Manager to be based at our European Headquarters in Birmingham.



Duties will include :



* Managing a nominated set of business accounts



* Up selling of products to existing accounts



* First point of contact for designated accounts



* Liaison with vendors , head office and suppliers



* Preparing and issuing quotes



* Supporting sales initiatives



* Ensuring service levels are exceeded



* Assisting in project management





Experience and background required :





* Sales experience or potential



* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



* Able to work as an individual and as part of a close knit team



* Able to demonstrate good organisational qualities and able to multi-task efficiently



* Experience should include working in a sales , sales support , administration , customer services type role ideally within the IT industry ie working for an IT vendor , reseller or distributor .We will also welcome applications from candidates with suitable experience from outside of thev IT industry if the can demonstrate a keen interest in IT and the ability to absorb product knowledge from ongoing training provided .



* Good IT literacy



* Ability to undergo product training and gain vendor accreditations .
