Service Engineer - Standby Generators - Lancashire



We are looking for a Diesel Generator Service & Maintenance Engineer in Lancashire.

My client manufacture Electrical Power equipment: Generators, UPS, Power conditioning.



Experience working Control Panels is preferred



Responsibilities:



Undertake standard service activity including major & minor diesel servicing.

Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to recommended standards.

Wiring and test

Computer programming for integration into backup power system

Fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.

Electrical Installation of Control Panels, Changeovers etc

Identify opportunities for remedial work.

Participation in “Call Out” Rota for out of normal working hour's response.

Completion and submission of relevant reports to service administration within a timely manner following all site activity.

Comply with all Company Health and Safety Requirements





Experience:



Previous experience with Diesel Powered Generators or related industry would be advantageous.

Experience in a field operations role.

Experience of Electrical and Mechanical fault finding & rectification.

Experience in Electrical Installation.

Minimum ONC Electrical Qualification or equivalent required.



Salary:Competitive Salary plus paid overtime (55-60 hours per wk)
