Technical Manager - Senior Engineer - GENERATORS - NW



Technical Manager required with a strong diesel generator background to manage post-sales technical support of distributors, blue-chip customers and internal service division. Based in Lancashire.

Would suit a senior generator engineer looking for career progression.



My client is a large generator manufacturer.



THE ROLE:

Provide technical problem management

Communicate technical action and contingency plans

Work with training manager to develop and proved an on going solution

Liaise with Field Service Manager to develop an on site/fix solution

Provide on-site assistance and report findings

Develop escalation process

Manager technical manuals and service bulletins

Direct management of technical support team





REQUIREMENTS:

Management / supervisory experience of engineering / service / technical department / team

Electrical engineering qualification or background

Excellent written and verbal communications, professional and motivated



PACKAGE:

Basic salary in the region of £34k

Company car

25 days holiday

Pension & private medical

10% – 20% salary bonus based on performance and company profit
