Manufacturing Engineer



Our client is a successful precision engineering company.



Due to company expansion they currently require an Manufacturing Engineer to join their busy workforce.



You will be required to:-



Put the most appropriate working methods in place which ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.

Support production to ensure that Customer demands are fully met.

Recommend and implement solutions to the day-to-day operational, quality and performance problems.

Recommend, plan, design and implement methods, tooling and equipment to improve operational performance and quality, whilst ensuring that products are produced at the lowest possible cost.



The following skills are essential:-



3 years minimum experience in a Mechanical / Process / Production

Engineering position.

3 years minimum experience in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, SMED and SPC.

Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency and quality in a production environment.

Strong project management and new product introduction experience.

1 to 5 years experience in Product or Tooling design.

Experience with Word, Excel, AutoCAD and MRP Systems.

Experience with CNC programming



Ideally you will be a time served engineer within Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
