Service & Maintenance Engineer



We are currently recruiting a Service & Maintenance Technician with some previous experience working on overhead Cranes / electric hoists.



My client are a major manufacturer of over head cranes and electric hoists and are recruiting UK wide for engineers to work from home and cover the local region.



Vacancy:

Working from home, cover customers within a commutable radius

Providing service, maintenance, fault finding – electrical and mechanical

Some installation work may also be necessary

Customer services

Timely feedback on work sheets

Cover other engineers sickness or holidays

General upkeep of work vehicle



Experience required:

Previous experience working on cranes / electric hoists

General factory maintenance or similar industrial experience – electrical Fault finding skills

The role will include regular working at height



Other requirement:

Full driving licence

IT literate

Able to work overtime and on an on-call rota



Package:

Salary £22K to £27K

The package includes overtime for weekdays at basic (after 40 hours), Saturdays at x 1.5 and x 2 for weekends.

Staff are also required to be on 24 hour standby on a rota basis for which you will receive an allowance plus £90 each time asked to go out

Holidays are 20 days plus Bank Holidays.

A Company van and mobile telephone are provided
